Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure

Mac VPN Lab is a free, reader-supported site. To keep the lights on, we earn money in two ways:

1. Advertising: We display ads served by third-party ad networks (including Google AdSense). Advertisers pay us for ad placement.
2. Affiliate links: Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Our promise

• We never accept payment in exchange for positive reviews.
• Every VPN on this site has been tested by us on real hardware (Apple Silicon Macs and Windows PCs) before we recommend it.
• Our affiliate relationships do not influence our rankings. If a product performs poorly in our tests, we say so.
• Commissions help fund the hardware, subscriptions, and time that go into testing. They do not buy a higher ranking.

Testing methodology

All speed tests, battery measurements, and stability logs published on this site are recorded on our own devices. Test conditions (hardware, OS version, ISP connection, test period) are stated in each article.

If you have questions about our disclosure policy, contact us at [contact email].
